Peruvian krautrockers, spaceheads, psychedelic warriors or just droners of Culto al Qondor are back with a record titled ‘Tannhäuser Tor’. 2 long songs in a more ambient way, nevertheless, darker and very deep space. The album was recorded with a cell phone in one take, no overdubs, with a very punky or DIY attitude and it captured the smokey trippy vibe of the performance by these two Peruvians. Think of Berlin School (Ash Ra Tempel, Klaus Schulze) meets ’90s post rock (Labradford, Flying Saucer Attack) and you get an idea.
Culto al Qondor started in 2003 as a jam band, but it’s until 2017 that they decided to start to record albums. Comes on green vinyl.
